Gairen wandered the land with his dragon kite "Sobek" on his back. He avoided traps jumping, dodging finding every loop hole. Gairen faced many monsters as he walked the dust dark path. The skies always black and foggy, many warriors drift into the known Abyss called a "Black hole" as they wander through darkness. With no warnings many sucked in with hard winds of force. Gairen say as a group of shape shifters sucked into the mighty hole, Gairen backed away knowing of the trap that plugged the land. As Gairen continued his dragon begin to croak, Gairen found some deer and fed it to him keeping his mouth shut. Gairen made a scythe and continued to walk though. Glowing eyes all around, red, green, blue, and gold. Gairen held his scythe tight knowing they will attack when his guard was dropped. Nobody knows much of the glowing eyed demons, but that many drop there guard then they strike with speed and strength. Only one knows survived of an attack, he died after he got to town. Gairen kept his guard up at all times watching and protecting Sobek. The orb on Sobek’s head seemed to ward them off a little. Gairen wanted to see one glowing eyed demon for himself, but rested the temptation. As the darkness lighted it was a sign of day, like summer nights and the night it would be cold dark winter nights. Although Gairen had never been to these lands he heard a lot about it. Like of the legend of the Dragon; (story told by Ebain Norhes) “Many years ago there was a young Dragon man that roamed these lands. His skin much like the Iksar but more of a dragon, claws of gold and fangs of pure blood. The monster was not a Iksar because of his wings that he had on his back much like a gargoyle he destroyed towns and kingdoms, Feared by most, but he really feared them as he killed then he thought they were going to hurt him, yet he left no survivors. Years went by and he had destroyed the kingdoms in the land leaving the monsters to come and take over the land. The dragon man was exited that there were things like him, but they tried to kill him and take his wondrous powers. It simply destroyed the things that came to fight. Most of them were in fear of his power and praised him. The monster was lonely, after a while a changeling came to the land to end the strife a king came to see and remake the land. The king saw the so called king of this land, the dragon man, and challenged him to a duel. The monster did not understand he was too depressed to fight. As it rained the monster looked away, the king walked up to him and raised his sword. The monster looked at him with sad eyes, the king lowered his sword putting it out of his misery. The king left the land knowing there was nothing he could do for it. He had realized the pain the monster had and he left the land for every one to know of the legacy.”
The story always brought back memories of his late master, as Gairen grew up those were the stories that he told (his adventures). Gairen made it out of the dreaded Forrest of the demons and laid down to rest. A long sharp Katana lay on Gairen’s neck “Get up” a woman’s voice said. Gairen got up slowly, and she said” ha, who says women bandits can’t do any thing”. “Not me” Gairen said. “The dragon, pick it up” she said. She was an elf with long black hair, red eyes, and leather armor. “No, he’s trying to sleep” he said. “don’t argue with me” she yelled. Gairen flipped back and landed on the sword. She looked as he balanced on her sword appalling no weight. She then put the sword to the side, then Gairen dropped to the ground. She charged at him with a large swipe, Gairen moved to the side and grabbed the Blade. He then snapped it, and she stepped back. With the broken sword he tried to stab him, but he moved to the side. She grinned and dropped the broken sword then turned around a started to punch at him rapidly. His head and body going every which way. Gairen then got knocked back into a tree by a finishing blow. Gairen hit the tree then wiped his mouth. “It’s not my duty to harm ladies, but I think I’ll give you time to think” he said. He lifted his hand up and the ground turned into quick sand and pulled he under to he head. It turned back to regular and she had her head stuck out. Gairen then sat down then she said calmly “are you going to let me out”. “In due time” he said. “For now we rest” Gairen played around with his sand powers as Sobek slept. She waited under ground unable to move, Gairen gave he enough breathing room underground so she could move her body. Gairen then said “so who are you”. She didn’t answer, he shrugged. Then a bush started to rumble Gairen made a sword and put it at his side.
